ARRL 10 GHz and Up Contest

Plans for Sunday August  15th  10 GHz and Up

We plan to travel to (3) Beach Front  Spots all with an un obstructed view to the Atlantic, these spots should work well for Block Island and the North East.  Chris KE5NJ/ and myself with be traveling with (2) operating stations .  Contact us below or follow us on the map at https://w3sz.com/map.php

Operation Plan 

Stop 1: Brigantine, NJ Bird Watch Tower FM29TK  (operate from 8AM-10AM) -

Stop 2: North Wildwood Seawall  FM29OA (1 Hour 10 Minute drive 50 miles and set up at 11:30- operate 2 hours to 2PM)

Stop 3: Cape May Beach Ave End Pavilion  FM28MW  (30 Minute drive and set up operate 2 Hours, end 4PM)

About the ARRL 10 GHZ and Up Contest

Each contest weekend begins 0900 UTC Saturday and runs through 0759 UTC Monday. Participation is limited to 42 hours of operating time in each of the two contest weekends. NOTE: This is a change from the previous start and end times in local time. Participants are reminded to log all contacts in UTC time.

Contest Objective: For North American amateurs to contact as many amateur stations in as many different locations as possible in North America on bands from 10-GHz through Light. Amateurs are encouraged to operate from more than one location during this event. See the detailed rules for restrictions.

Dates:Third full weekend of August and September (August 15-17, 2026 and September 19-21, 2026).

Contest Period: Each weekend begins 0900 UTC Saturday and runs through 0759 UTC Monday. Participation is limited to 42 hours of operating time in each of the two contest weekends.

Log Submission Deadline:

Logs are due no later than THIRTY (30) days after the second weekend of the contest is over. Logs may be submitted either online or via mail, but electronic Cabrillo logs are the preferred method. Electronic logs must be submitted via our web app at contests.arrl.org/arrl10gscoresubmission.php

Logs that have been submitted electronically are listed on the Logs Received page. Click the contest name to see a list of submitted logs sorted by call sign and club name.

Submitting Paper Logs By Mail - Be sure to mail your completed Summary Sheet and Log Sheets postmarked before the log submission deadlines.

If submitting a paper log, it is strongly suggested you use a delivery method that offers a tracking number.

If you wish to convert your log into a Cabrillo formatted log for electronic submission, visit www.b4h.net/cabforms/ and select the event of interest. You can input your log data which will be converted to a Cabrillo formatted log for you (it will generate a log and return it to you), and then you can in turn submit your Cabrillo log online via the web app at contests.arrl.org/arrl10gscoresubmission.php.
