A2SD is a new Amateur Ham Radio Operator located in New Jersey USA. Follow along with AA2SD with the Parks on the Air POTA activations in New Jersey Parks on the Air ℠. (POTA) is an ongoing program, it encourages amateur radio operators in developing their skills, fostering community and demonstrating the hobby to the public. There are thousands of parks available in the program and each will present a unique experience

I was licensed in January of 2015 as KC3EDR. July of that year I passed the amateur extra exam and received the vanity callsign NV3Y. You’ll likely find me working somewhere between the 40m and 10m bands. I enjoy weak signal digital modes like JT65 and Olivia, but also do some SSB.

My QTH is Wind Gap, Pennsylvania which is located 75 miles (120km) west of New York City.
